Compiling MPLAB C30 v3.11(b) Source Code under Linux

Here’s my experiment with the MPLAB’s C30 source code. The original site for the patches (for C30 v3.00) can be viewed from Peter-Jan Randewijk page and piklab wiki.

GSM 03.40 rev 7.5.0 Document (in PDF)

The original document can be found here, but since GPP team is using Microsoft Word’s specific document, I have to convert it into PDF file since my linux’s OpenOffice won’t display it correctly.

Decoding GSM SMS Septets

Once encoding is done (refer to this post), decoding is easy.

First, we create two tables from the encoded data (like the encoding method), but for each 8-columns, we need to add empty column.
